It is an intensive course to do in person of three months duration. A workshop is held every two weeks of two hours where the last half hour will be to put into practice emotional intelligence resources and activities (two sessions per month).
Contents
First month:
- Origin and benefits of Emotional Intelligence: neuroscience.
- Introduction to the TAL transformation method (Thought, Action and Language) through emotional intelligence.
- Self-knowledge: emotions, feelings and response patterns.
- What are the cognitive distortions, how to fight them and how they affect our self-esteem.
- Practical resources.
Second month:
- Types of self-motivation and motivation of the teacher.
- How to be more assertive and proactive.
- Practice of active listening and feedback with students.
- Relationship management.
- Practical resources.
Third month:
- Positive psychology applied to education.
- Emotional facilitators in teaching: creativity, resilience, optimism and sense of humor.
- Emotional regulation strategies.
- Development of a personalized emotional regulation plan to resolve conflicts.
- Practical resources: including a Mindfulness practice.
